Diplomatic Missions Abroad Where Elections Will be Held
vbmBody Section 10 of the Knesset Election Law (Combined Version) 5729, 1969, determines who is entitled to vote in Israeli Consulates and Representative Offices outside of Israel, and details the voting times and arrangements.
Eligible to vote in Israeli Consulates and Representative Offices are:
- Civil servants, including soldiers
- Employees of the Jewish Agency
- Employees of the Jewish National Fund (KKL)
- Employees of Keren HaYesod
- Employees of the World Zionist Organization
For this purpose, the term “employee” includes a representative sent abroad for any of the above organizations, under the condition that s/he was sent abroad for at least one year. The spouses of said employees, and any children of his/ hers, up to and including the age of 20, are entitled to vote at the same polling station.
Voting abroad will take place on Thursday, 5 Ellul, 5779, September 5th, 2019.
