Israeli Basic Law: The Knesset (combined Version, 5729 – 1969) states that the Central Elections Committee is the body responsible for the organization, administration and legal and proper operation of the Knesset elections.
The CEC website was created in order to present relevant information to all voters, in a format which is accessible and user-friendly, with regular updates of CEC activity as well as the timetable until election day.
